Well, it has been quite some time! I have been busy knitting up some items to sell online.

Am selling items there and donating a portion of the profits to a domestic violence program on the coast of Maine. Many yrs ago, they were there for me. It is time to return the favor.

I have been taking a rug braiding class. Now this is interesting! Never realized how tough a job braiding is! We did a chair pad first thing. Mine didn't come out too badly! LOL
Am now starting a small oval for my kitchen sink area.

Another thing that I have begun doing is donating platelets. This is a bit time consuming. It can take nearly 2 hrs by the time you sign in and get finally hooked up. But, for me, being retired I have the time. It is such a good thing to know in your heart of hearts that you are helping save lives! And, platelets, well they look kind of strange! They are yellow! Who knew!
